Ultra Music Festival - Final Kid

In 2015 I started working regularly as a freelancer for the Amsterdam based production house, Final Kid. Together we have made films for numerous music festivals, concerts and high-end events all around the world.

I have now shot over forty editions of Ultra music festival with Final Kid. Each year I help cover the editions in Miami, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore and China to name a few. This is one of my biggest yearly contracts. I usually film around eight festivals a year.

The VFX based hyper lapse photography i’ve shot at these festivals is one aspect of my work with Final kid that im particaulry proud of. It’s also a skillset that I have built up that is quite unique.

The Ultra after movies normally feature a scenic intro. I was often flown out a week before the festival to get scenic footage. An example of which is below:

The relationship I have built with this team is pretty special. I really enjoy working with Charly Friedrichs and the FK team, and Im really proud of the collaborative work we have produced together.

Teams size changes from event to event, but im equally comfortable shooting in a two man team as I am in a fifteen man crew.

Off the back of my work with Final Kid and Ultra I now work for a handful of the big festivals in the US, Europe and Asia. In 2022 I was commissioned directly by festivals like Lollapollza Chicago, EDC Vegas, Bottlerock San Francisco I also work for production houses like Epic Cinema covering EU festivals like Untold, Defqon and Tomorrowland.
