I am privileged to consider filmmaking not only my profession but also my hobby and lifelong passion. I operate across America, Asia, Africa, and Europe, undertaking projects encompassing a wide range of genres. My portfolio includes documentaries, commercials, live music concerts, music festivals, corporate films, and scenic films tailored for tourist boards. Notably, my client roster boasts prestigious production houses such as AMV BBDO, BBC, and Final Kid, for whom I have crafted compelling films. Additionally, I have created films for companies such as Amazon, Stella McCartney, and Land Rover, delivering exceptional cinematic experiences through my work.

In recent years, I have progressively immersed myself in the world of documentary filmmaking. In 2022, I had the opportunity to create two fifteen-minute documentaries. The first focused on the pressing issue of the Cornish housing crisis, commissioned by a prominent housing organization and the local government. The second documentary was produced for Shelter, one of the largest homeless charities in the country. Additionally, I was hired as the Director of Photography (DOP) for two broadcast documentaries in 2021 and 2022: "Just Hold On," filmed in Norway, and "Ocean of Sounds: The First UK Underwater Sound Transect." Both of these films are scheduled for release on streaming platforms by late 2023/24. Furthermore, I have garnered multiple Camera Operator credits in various TV documentaries, including "The Last Day of Legal Highs," produced by Pulse Films and broadcasted on BBC1 at 9 PM.

Before my foray into documentary work gained momentum, my professional endeavors were primarily divided into three sectors. Firstly, I operated my own video production company, Pecheur Films, based in London. During this time, I successfully executed commercial projects for prominent entities such as Google and Sonos. However, the challenges posed by the pandemic compelled me to transition into freelance work.

The second prominent facet of my career revolves around time-lapse photography, with a special emphasis on a VFX-intensive style called "hyperlapse," often referred to as "flow motion." Utilizing advanced post-production techniques and meticulous pre-planning, I strive to seamlessly interweave multiple shots, providing viewers with a unique journey through cities or events. With a strong foundation in software like After Effects and advanced 2D compositing, this style comes naturally to me. Alongside this, I regularly capture traditional time-lapse photography for films, TV shows, newspapers, and high-profile events. I have established a fruitful partnership with Canon, who frequently lend me equipment to explore and experiment with flow motion techniques. Notably, Canon, Canon UK, and Canon USA actively follow and engage with my time-lapse work on Instagram.

The third major avenue of my work, which intersects with the previous two, revolves around filming live music events, particularly music festivals. My current significant contract involves filming Ultra Music Festivals for Final Kid Films. These renowned festivals are held worldwide, and I consistently contribute video, time-lapse, and drone footage (always adhering to local regulations with the presence of licensed pilots) for this esteemed client.

Having spent over a decade working on high-end events like Ultra, I have honed my ability to capture fleeting moments and emotions that transpire within fractions of a second. I possess a keen eye for detail and possess the versatility to film in an exciting manner when required, while also seamlessly transitioning to a more documentary-style approach. I believe that my instinct for live work beautifully complements my skills in documentary filmmaking and time-lapse photography, which prioritize forward-thinking, meticulous planning, and storytelling.

Furthermore, I am a fully qualified and CAA-approved drone pilot, holding GVC and A2 CofC qualifications. I carry comprehensive insurance coverage for commercial flights in the UK and Europe. In my work, I employ RED and Sony Cinema cameras, while also leveraging Canon stills cameras for specific projects.
